Many palette tools have additional property dialogs that configure the
current tool.
 
The image editor contains many functions and image operations that
are available through the eclipse menu bar. The operations include
zooming, crop and resize, image rotation, and image filters.

MyEclipse Image Editor Perspective |
Because the image related views that are used when editing images, there
is a new perspective call MyEclipse Image Editor.
When you open an image with the Image Editor, by default you will
be prompted with a decision to switch into the MyEclipse Image Editor
perspective. If you remember the decision, you can later return
to this prompt by changing a preference .

New Image File Wizard |
A new file resource wizard has been added for creating new image
files.xxx.
Using the new image file wizard, you can set the width, height, and
fill type of the image.

Image Preview Integration |
From the Image Preview view, you can open the currently selected
image in the MyEclipse Image Editor.

The view menu also has an action for opening the current image in the
Image editor.

Ad-hoc Image Preview |
MyEclipse now offers a new view option
allowing user to browse through their images directories (through
package Explorer) and display image content without having to
open in a separate image editor.
The image preview option offers basic image view/sizing , Zoom
in / Zoom out and support GIF, JPG, BMP, PNG, ICO image types.
Future releases will integrate the viewer into the Visual editor
for drag and drop as well as image editing capabilities
To enable this view, select Window -> Show View -> Other
-> Image Preview
To display the image, simply select the image file in the package
explorer view |
